Artificial Intelligence Knowledge Development (AIKD) aims to provide a venue for interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research on applications, upsides, and downsides of AI in humanities and social sciences. The main themes that AIKD covers are theoretical and conceptual foundations of AI, AI in research methods and academic practice, AI and society, AI in education and learning, ethical, legal, and human rights dimensions, AI in arts, media, and cultural production, AI, identity, and human experience, ethical and social risks: downsides and critical perspectives, AI for social good, and emerging interdisciplinary frontiers. Submissions can be empirical paper, review paper (narrative, systematic, meta-analysis, scoping, critical, integrative, and umbrella review), perspectives/commentaries (critical or opinion pieces), and case studies (practical applications of AI in humanities and social sciences).
