I am an associate professor in applied linguistics at Peoples Friendship University, RUDN University, Moscow, Russia. Here, I work with international postgraduate students and provide them with training in applied linguistics. My academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics/TESOL and an M.A. in English. My role is to encourage, disseminate, and enhance knowledge and its practice in applied linguistics through teaching, research, and work in partnerships. So, in general, my research interests are in foreign language acquisition beliefs, discourse, sociolinguistics, and psycholinguistics. I have published many research articles in peer-reviewed Web of Science and Scopus-indexed journals.
