Language Teaching Research Quarterly
Special Issue Series of Language Teaching Research Quarterly in Honour of Lifelong Contribution of Distinguished Scholars to Language Education
The Special Issues Series is intended to recognize and celebrate distinguished scholars whose work has made significant contributions to language education and related fields. The series seeks to foster an academic culture of recognition, intellectual continuity, and scholarly dialogue by bringing together contributions that engage with the research interests, intellectual legacy, or major research streams associated with the scholar being honored.
Special issues may be invitation-based, open to submissions, or a combination of invited and openly submitted contributions, depending on the editorial plan for the individual issue. All submissions to special issues, whether invited or openly submitted, are subject to the journal's established two-stage review procedure of the journal. Guest Editors are responsible for managing the special-issue review process and making an editorial recommendation based on the reviewers' reports and their assessment of the manuscript. The final publication decision is made in accordance with the journal's editorial procedures by the Guest Editor(s) in consultation with the designated Handling Editor and under the oversight of the Editor-in-Chief. The Publisher's supervising editor may monitor the process to ensure that the journal's editorial and ethical standards are maintained. Invited status does not guarantee acceptance. All invited and openly submitted manuscripts are evaluated according to the same scholarly, ethical, and peer-review standards.
Article Processing Charges for the Special Issues Series
LTRQ does not charge an Article Processing Charge (APC) for papers accepted for publication in its Special Issues Series. This applies equally to invited contributions and eligible papers submitted through an open call for submissions.
