Ethical Guidelines

The journals published by European Knowledge Development Institute (EUROKD) strive to publish high quality research papers in line with the main framework of COPE’s best practice guidelines for journal editors, reviewers, and authors (for full guidelines please visit: https://publicationethics.org/).

Main points:

  • The journal is open access.
  • We carry out a two-stage review procedure: An internal in-house review by editors and an external double-blind review by at least two external reviewers. We do not have fast-tracking review and publication option.
  • Information of reviewers and handling editor is not disclosed to the authors.
  • The editors are committed to meticulous unbiased review procedure conducted timely. The report of review and editor’s decision should be clear, objective and precise.
  • We publish exclusively original work of authors.
  • Plagiarism in all its classified formats is not acceptable. The journal checks each submission at entry stage for any similarity. As of 2024, the standad rate for similarity is -15%.
  • No change in authorship is possible after initial submission.
  • Any funding support needs to be mentioned in the manuscript.
  • There should not be any conflict of interest between authors when a manuscript is submitted. Email address, affiliation, and ORCID of all contributors should be reported when the corresponding author submits a joint paper. So, all contributors can be notified of submission and result of review.
  • If publisher finds out that there is a main issue with a published paper (e.g., the findings are unreliable; the findings have previously been published elsewhere in any format; it has plagiarism; there is a legal issue; or the paper is published without standard peer-review procedure), they can retract the paper.
  • Request for retracting a published paper can be made by a written letter signed by all contributors, explaining the reason for their request. The publisher decides on the issue.
